A policy is a statement of a broad and general direction which provides a guide for discretionary action. School Policies guide and describe the main processes, functions and operations of the school. The development and review of policies have an agreed process so that various stakeholders are part of the consultation and review process.
The School Board, in collaboration with staff, develop and review policies to provide guidance and direction.
