Transferring Students
As a Catholic Primary School, Mother of Good Counsel is obliged to accept children transferring from another Catholic school, if the school has the capacity to do so.
In addition to the information contained on the enrolment form, parents should notify the school of:
- Reports from previous schools
- Details of issues relating to the child’s health eg. allergies, treatment, management etc.
- Details of and relevant reports relating to disability or diagnosis
- The involvement of external therapists and medical practitioners
- Details of medication to be administered while at school. Please note the legislative requirements for medication given during school time
- Information that prevents a student from participating in learning, sporting or cultural activities,
It is necessary that parents be open about these matters, so we can work in partnership, in the best interests of each child.
